All branches will be closed on Monday, June 30, 2025. Our core processing system is the software and supporting hardware that United Community Credit Union uses to maintain members’ deposit and loan accounts, process transactions, and support services such as debit cards, bill pay, and online banking. This system is receiving a complete upgrade to provide better technology and services. In summary, this upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to deliver a better, faster, and more secure user experience. While you may notice a few temporary changes along the way, these enhancements are designed with you in mind.

A core system conversion is a financial institution's most complex project. It requires careful planning to lay the groundwork for a successful transition. We assure you our team has been diligently working to minimize confusion or unforeseen circumstances during this planned upgrade. While most changes will happen behind the scenes, some brief disruptions will be communicated in detail as we approach Monday, June 30, 2025.

Please ensure that we have your up-to-date contact information so you can stay informed. We hope to work quickly and efficiently to make this upgrade seamless. However, we are asking for your patience. Switching to a new operating system is impossible without shutting down the current system, transferring data, and bringing the new system online without causing inconvenience. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.

We are committed to keeping you informed throughout the system upgrade process. You will see greater operational efficiencies, security, and improved functionality upon completion. This upgrade will support UCCU’s long-term growth strategies and enhance electronic delivery systems.

Our goal is to minimize the disruption to you during this conversion; however, some services will be limited or unavailable during this process.

UCCU ATMs

Debit Card Usage

Daily Limits will apply as of June 27 at 4:00am. 

  • $500 for ATM withdrawals
  • $500 for POS transactions (Purchases)

Credit Card Usage 

Your credit card WILL NOT BE IMPACTED and will work as usual during the system upgrade. 

Bill Pay 

Bill Pay payments scheduled to process on or BEFORE June 26th will be processed and paid. Payments scheduled on or AFTER June 27th at 8:00am will NOT be processed or paid. 

ACH

The last ACH posting will be at 7:59am on June 27, 2025.

Statements

All members will receive a paper statement for the month of June 2025. 

Statement history will NOT transfer over to new system. To avoid any disruption, we kindly ask that you download or print any statements you may need by June 26, 2025.

Dividends

Members must complete thier 12 POS debit card transactions between June 1, 2025, and June 27, 2025, to qualify for dividend earning on their Rewards Checking Account.

Dividends will be posted on June 28, 2025.

Zelle 

Zelle will become unavailable as part of our system upgrade. Your phone number and email will be released by June 27, 2025, so you can register with another financial institution. 

Branch Hours

Saturday, June 28, branches will open regular hours from 9:00am - 1:00pm. 

Other Details 

Your funds are safe and secure during this process.

Your checks will still work.


Rewards Checking Monthly Qualification Cycle

Change Notice

As part of our upcoming core system upgrade, we want to inform you of a temporary adjustment to your Rewards Checking Monthly Qualification Cycle for June 2025, as well as a permanent change to the timing of dividend postings moving forward.

To support the successful implementation of our new system, the June Monthly Qualification Cycle will end two (2) business days before the end of the statement cycle, instead of the usual one. Specifically, your cycle will run from May 30, 2025 through June 26, 2025. All other account processes will remain the same, and rewards will be distributed as scheduled on June 28, 2025.

Effective July 2025, your Monthly Qualification Cycle will follow a new standard:

Monthly Qualification Cycle” means the period beginning on the first day of the current statement cycle and ending on the last day of the current statement cycle. In addition, dividends earned through Rewards Checking will be posted on the 1st business day of the following month, rather than the last day of the current month.
